MUDVAYNE To Tour With SEVENDUST, 10 YEARS An BOBAFLEX
October 17, 2005After a summer on the Ozzfest main stage, Epic recording artists MUDVAYNE are returning to the road for "The Masters of Horror Tour 2005". Featuring openers SEVENDUST, 10 YEARS and BOBAFLEX, the tour kicks off November 18 at the Val Air Ballroom in Des Moines.
MUDVAYNE are touring in support of new album, "Lost and Found", the record featuring the Active Rock radio smash "Happy?" and follow-up hit "Forget to Remember". The latter, which is the band's second straight top ten Active Rock hit, is also the first single from the "Saw II" soundtrack. The dark, chilling video was shot by the film's director, Darren Bousman, and features footage from the upcoming Lion's Gate thriller. MUDVAYNE also contributed a previously unreleased track ("Small Silhouette") to the "Masters of Horror" soundtrack, the companion album to Showtime's "Masters of Horror" TV anthology. The disc features 30 brand-new tracks from artists such as SHADOWS FALL and Buckethead (ex-GUNS N' ROSES) with Serj Tankian (SYSTEM OF A DOWN). The series premieres on Showtime Friday, October 28 and features 13 one-hour mini-movies from the acclaimed horror directors such as John Carpenter, Tobe Hooper, John Landis and more.
Released this past spring, MUDVAYNE's "Lost and Found" entered The Billboard Top 200 chart at No. 2, making it both the highest debut and highest charting album of the band's career. With sales of 152,000 units, the rock juggernaut almost doubled the first-week numbers of its previous release, 2002's "The End of All Things To Come". It's also MUDVAYNE's third straight gold-and fastest-selling-album to date. The band performed first single "Happy?" on "Late Night with Conan O'Brien".
